I require daily exchange rate information for roughly twelve different currencies USD being the base currency. For this, I have been using ECB data, however, the ECB does not provide several of the currencies I require.
Oanda is the only service I have looked into using, they only have paid plans and a 30-day free trial.
I had a similar issue and stumbled upon XE.com. They offer a lot of currencies for free and their data is pretty reliable. Also, if you want something more hands-on, Google Finance might be a handy tool for quick checks. I used it for a while and it worked well for me
When I needed daily exchange rate information for about twelve different currencies with USD as the base currency, I initially relied on ECB data. However, I found that the ECB didn’t cover several currencies I required. Seeking alternatives, I considered Oanda, which offers comprehensive data but only through paid plans after a 30-day free trial. To find a cost-effective solution, I explored other options like XE.com and ExchangeRate-API.com, both of which provide free tiers for basic currency exchange rate data and might cover the additional currencies I needed without incurring extra costs.
