My stop-loss was triggered at rollover, but there isn’t even a wick. What’s going on?

I’m a bit confused by this and hope someone can clarify. I understand that the spread can cause stop losses to be hit, but shouldn’t that trade be shown immediately in the candle (like in the wick)? Is there a delay between when the stop-loss trade is executed and when that trade shows up in the candle?

Spread widenong, another criminal stuff to make money

Your spread is just a way for brokers to take advantage of people. The best way to avoid this is to either close your trades before rollover or adjust your settings. I recently had the same issue with the EA I created because I forgot to enter the parameters to avoid these situations.

Spread. It can be 2-3 times bigger than usual at rollover. Enable the Ask Price Line . The difference between the Bid and Ask will be the spread.

Rollover generally has very high spreads.
