Hello everyone, I am new to this site and r/DayTrading, having joined just this week.
I am still a beginner and have just started breaking even after trading forex, gold, and crypto for about 2 years. I fund my Axi broker account with $200 at a time and try to grow it from there. I believe that if your strategy works with $200, it will work with larger amounts. Using real money also makes a big difference compared to a demo account.
I have noticed many posts from people who should not be trading with real money, yet they are talking about trading with thousands. I canβt help but wonder what they are thinking, Any suggestions might be helpful.
These are two separate things. Turning $100 into $1000 requires different talents than making 2-3% of a $100,000 account. Yes, trading larger quantities than normal requires some adjustment, but they are still distinct concepts.
One guy I know transforms roughly ten thousand dollars into ten thousand dollars every week; this week, he turned fifty thousand dollars into four hundred dollars. However, this has to do with ego. pretending to be the best in order to earn 1000 times your investment. He had to transform $5,000 into over $120,000 last year! Even more, he showed me a screen grab of himself earning over $40,000 in a single day! And as a consequence, he lost everything.
