I recently cut off some toxic friends who weren’t doing much other than using drugs and being lazy. I wanted to focus more on my forex journey. While I’m not consistently profitable yet, I’ve had some good months since I started in 2019.
I was wondering if anyone here knows of any cool forex groups or Discords where people can share ideas and support each other? If anyone just wants to chat, that’s cool too.

Yeah, I was in a bunch of Discord groups when I started, and you’re right… I lost money. Going solo has worked better for me. I kinda see it like a money printer I gotta keep secret 
Most of us come here to fill that feeling of loneliness. Trading does have a lot of solitude. Some of your best trades will only be known to you. Just remember to find balance and not let trading consume you.
Or just post here when you need to get something off your chest. There’s always someone who will reply. Don’t bottle it up; it’s not healthy.
Tradingview.com has been my go-to for trade ideas. It’s mostly technical analysis, but you’ll find plenty of thoughts on trades there.

When I started, I was all about joining groups, but now I mostly keep to myself. It does get lonely, but I’ve found it’s better for me. Being in those groups taught me some important things, like risk management, but I was also jumping from strategy to strategy without making real progress. Groups might work for some people, but not everyone. Try it out, but don’t let them dictate how you trade.
I also watch realistic traders on YouTube, like HannahForex. It’s like getting a glimpse of what my future could be like if I go full-time.

You make some solid points. I’ll give the group thing a try, but I’m really just looking for driven people who want to better themselves, not those who waste time doing nothing.
Most groups I’ve been in were full of people just looking to leech off others. Best thing is to find a few solid people and exchange ideas with them.
