Anyone have experience with Maverick Trading?

Hey!

Has anyone dealt with Maverick Trading? I recently had an interview with them, and their system to reward disciplined traders interests me. After training and demo trading, you get $25K with portfolio margin (you contribute $5K; they add $20K). If you manage risk, well and follow your trading plan, they increase your capital after two winning months.

I’m hesitant about the $6K upfront cost, refundable as a bonus after making your first $6K in income. The only other fee is a $200 monthly tech fee for the trading software.

I’ve had success on my own but struggled to grow a small account. With their capital, I could potentially trade with $100K by next year and $1M in two years.

Any insights?

After completing training and demo trading, they start you with $25,000 (you invest $5,000 of your own risk capital, and they add $20,000). This setup can be beneficial for those who want to trade with larger amounts.

Never trust a trading firm that asks you to put your own money in upfront as capital (except if you’re a partner etc)
