I changed my username since someone had something similar. My old username was BoredTrader

Hello,

A couple of weeks ago, I made a post that got a lot of attention (9 years trading, feel free to ask me anything). In that post, I talked about why it’s important to grasp the fundamentals, narratives, and positioning. Many people requested a trade example, so if you’re interested, please drop a screenshot of a pair or asset in your watchlist, and I’ll explain how I approach building a position using that example.

I hope this helps, and I’m open to any advice or tips you have for me to improve

Thanks

I’d like to hear your thoughts on the fx currency pair USDCHF. Could you provide both a technical and fundamental breakdown? Thanks

I’m working on that right now

Please analyze USDJPY. I noticed the daily lower high has been broken, and the price retraced to that zone. But on the 15-minute chart, there’s a bullish market structure with a recent higher high

I checked TradingEconomics.com and found that the USD is getting stronger while the JPY is weakening. However, Myfxbook.com shows a bearish market sentiment.

@Oli
USDJPY and USDCHF have similar setups. Right now, I think shorting the USD is risky. I’ll come back to this later; I’m in a poker tournament at the moment

Nine years of trading is impressive. I bet you don’t even need to draw lines to make trades :joy:

It really depends, to be honest :man_shrugging:

Well, we wanted to see a few of your examples… risk structures, etc.

Yes, sorry! I’m still getting used to this forum. I heard there are bots everywhere, so I decided to wait a bit…
