How to Differentiate Between ChoCh and Liquidity Sweep

Hey guys just bear with me if the question seems stupid I’m sorry it’s just because it’s been like 3 days since I started.

When a ChoCh happens, you’ll see candle closes above that high/low while forming FVGs in the same direction as the ChoCh. With a liquidity sweep, you’ll see price respecting a high/low with candle wick rejections as well as forming FVGs heading in the opposite direction from the high/low. I hope that made it a bit easier to understand; let me know if I need to clarify anything. Cheers!

@Tilden
Thank you very much.

For ChoCh, there must be a candle closing with displacement… For liquidity sweep, it can wick or close with an immediate opposite candle formation followed by FVG; that is liquidity sweep.
