Did I Miss Something

I retraced to the bottom of the fvg looking for balance and closed above this area on lower time frames. Did I miss anything or could I have approached this differently

That stop looks like it’s going to get triggered

Don’t worry about what others say

Just stick to your trading plan. It’s all that really matters

If your data shows your system works, ignore any advice you get

This commenter always gives solid advice :+1: I get so frustrated with some of the silly posts on here :unamused: Some of these questions make it seem like those people shouldn’t even be trading :triumph:

Trading is serious. Those who don’t take it seriously shouldn’t be here

@Rocco
Thanks for the support!

Stop asking if anything is wrong. I’m tired of these kinds of posts. If you didn’t follow your plan, yes, something is wrong. If you did, then there’s nothing to worry about

Exactly… these constant posts every day are tiring

Looking at the 1-hour chart, I would have waited for a retest of the FVG where you entered since your stop seems too tight for catching the low. There’s sell-side liquidity just below you. A good sweep and entry after a market structure shift in the FVG could work

@Knox
That sounds a bit off

Every strategy can work in its way

Just keep in mind we’re in a daily imbalance

Did you get hit by a rock while learning SMC ICT? How could you place a stop there? That’s so wrong. Opportunity lost

Everyone has different systems and theories. Just take the trade, journal it, learn what worked or didn’t, and improve

Sadly, that’s a wrong assumption. Many users here don’t grasp the importance of what you just shared

They often think that just because there’s a fvg, they’re set for success

Long

That’s a bit tight

Buying high is risky

Equal lows can indicate internal liquidity. Price might sweep down to tap the last push before a break in structure before heading higher. If you get stopped out, look for reaccumulation and consider re-entering. Good luck
