Confidence is Growing

My confidence in trading is steadily growing as I see my strategy proving effective. I guess a year of backtesting really paid off. Regardless of whether I win or lose, I no longer feel disappointed or overly excited—I just move on to the next day.

I also avoided getting stopped out because I wait for candle closures. Through backtesting, I realized this approach significantly improves my strategy, even if it means taking on slightly more risk for a better reward.

As for today’s trades: the first one on GC hit the target quickly, while the second was a bit trickier but worked out in the end.

I caught this one too! Same setup; it just broke through the 2745 zone and took off.

Absolutely! It just kept on climbing.

Let’s see if it can reclaim last week’s high. That deep-seek drama was something else!

What forex exchange do you recommend? Any thoughts on leverage?

Nope, I focus on 1-minute and 5-minute charts.

Oh, that explains a lot. Thanks for clarifying!

So you used the 5-minute Opening Range Breakout (ORB)?

You’re living my dream! I’m currently at $1k on Topstep and need to get to $3k. :weary::gem:

Focus on your setup! Plan your trade and trade your plan. Emotions can cloud your judgment if you think too much about the money.

@Ibrahim
Thank you, bro! I needed that reminder.
