Be patient. Do not chase

Do you find yourself obsessing about missed opportunities? Remember, if a trade has already left the station, don’t chase it. Another fresh trade opportunity will present itself soon enough. Do not chase trades. Wishing you all continued growth along this journey.

Amen brother.

Think of it as an endless water stream that provides fish. Are you going to be upset about the fish you could’ve eaten, or will you focus on the endless stream and the fish that are coming? There are millions of different pairs setting up your perfect S+++ setup right now. No need to be greedy with a little rational thinking.

You’re right, but damn, can it be tempting sometimes.

This is so me! I’ve even made a post about this before, but yes, I have learned to stop obsessing over it.

Why would you obsess over a singular trade when you’ll take thousands in your whole ‘career’?

@Kingsley
Very true.

Amen :pray: to this.

Go for a limit order entry. Watch this video where the price returned to give you an entry. Good luck on your journey.

Great point about never chasing a trade. Initially, I always had FOMO. Now, 15 years later, I still feel FOMO at times, but I catch myself and do not let it control me. The goal is to not let emotions control you, even if you still feel them. There will always be another trade.

I was about to write a post about this. I realized why my PnL was negative was due to my impatience. So now I only use limit orders. I also use the train analogy: wait for the train to reach its destination and then take the next train.
